Managing books since 2002



Starting her career at just 16 years old, Jenny started working for her father in his accountancy practice in Wagga Wagga, learning bookkeeping the old fashioned way with pen on paper. Jenny continued with this career path taking on part time bookkeeping work over the years, including a few years in the RAAF as a clerk, and then working from home while raising two children.

In 2001 Jenny took on a role that would soon change from employee to contractor. Taking advantage of this she started her own business a year later in July 2002. After registering the business name Well Balanced Bookkeeping in 2008 Jenny opened and operated a small office until 2012, when circumstances led her to base her work from home again.

Jenny has taken care of books for a wide range of industries over the years from hospitality and retail, to tradies and health practitioners.  Working closely with clients and their businesses has led to learning many skills and a broad range of knowledge to provide assistance with many aspects of business from getting started to growing and expanding with confidence.

A bit of a nomad, she lives and works in the regions of Wollongong, The Hawkesbury and Macarthur/Campbelltown, spending time each week or so wherever she need to be to either work or spend time with family.

Now, with around 30 years experience and more time to focus on the business, Jenny is looking not only to expand her business, but also aid others in developing their own.

Jenny is the owner and operator of Well Balanced Bookkeeping. She is a Registered BAS Agent with Cert IV Financial Services (Accounting).

With over 30 years experience in clerical, administrative and financial work, Jenny looks after ATO compliance and lodgements,  BAS, IAS, SGC, TPAR and is the inital contact for working out how we can help you.

As a business we are keen to grow and learn so Jenny is committed to not only keeping up with any tax compliance requirements, but also continually updating her knowledege in the areas of  software uses and benefits, integrated apps that save time and money and sharing her knowledge by training her team and keeping clients in the loop and trained up in areas they need to be.

Joining the team 2014 in Brittanee is our accounts assistant, taking care of general office administration, accounts receivable and payable, and general data entry, as well as problem solving for some of those day to day headaches that come up in business. She works closely with clients to help with any problem, small or large.

Onsite in the Hawkesbury Region (Western Sydney), Brittanee can help you organise your office if you have no sytems in place, or it just needs an overhaul.

Wayne is our inventory and purchasing specialist, sourcing and liasing with suppliers, performs stocktakes, as well as data entry with accounts payable. He has also been very welcome as our inhouse excel ace!

Wayne can assist in troubleshooting within the purchasing/stock areas of your business to identify and develop more effective and systematic workflow procedures.

Ellen has been managing and reforming our archival systems, as well as managing our website operations and getting our social media presence up and running soon.

Ellen is currently studying for her Bachelor of Information Studies, and is available to help with research, archiving solutions and digital storage advice

The Well Balanced team has grown from experience, evolving from double entry bookkeeping in a big blue ledger, to desktop software, and now working completely in the cloud. This opens up opportunities for us to work with anyone online, no matter where you are based as the digital world expands around us. Curated over more than 20 years to provide the most experienced and professional services to meet the needs of our clients. Our team has backgrounds not only in financial management, but also general office procedures and maintenance, record keeping, archiving, and everything in between. Now that we've come of age, it's time for a new chapter in our business. We have updated, upgraded, certified, and committed to the future growth of Well Balanced Bookkeeping.
